Formello, "Cross Valle del Sorbo": A Cross 5 Star
A beautiful morning for a wonderful organization

A splendid place, seems made to run and run at best. Absolute level of organization, with all the right places and with the right skills. Perfect compliance with the program schedule, location soon (as it should be in a cross) and all categories in the race. From young adults, from amateurs to master very advanced, and the absolute greatest names in Italian and foreign. Cross the beautiful Valle del Sorbo, in Formello (common near Rome). Homer, Gabriella and all Team "The Heron", in memory of Amerigo Curci, confirmed what a good number of my athletes had told me of this event. A confirmation of an organization that has achieved something great, aided by a beautiful, although cold, sunny day. The crowning touch to many forces and many efforts in the field.
Beyond the beauty of what lived, what pleasantly surprised me was the absolute respect between athletes. Never interfere with the race track, and all the players to enjoy the very young and other colleagues, pending his trial. What should be normal, but not always the case ...! What
whim and then see that in the junior categories, leaving mixed, often to win absolute agguerritissime were some girls who have lined up so many boys. Other than a level playing field ...!
The final races, those reserved for women by 3.5 km and 7.8 km of men (Amateurs, Masters, Absolute s) win Hanane Janat and Tayeb Filali.
For me a very nice trip to Rome in the company of Louis D'Aniello (with whom we have given the leadership changes) and the two "Bell" in the race: Abdelhadi Ben Khadir (Campania Csain Athletics) and Mark Calderone (Violet Club Catanzaro, even though she lives in Angri, near Salerno). The two athletes have confirmed strong that each is a great athlete development (at the end Abdelhadi 4 °), the other an extraordinary Over 40, talent lens (Mark, 6 th arrival).
A tasty pasta party and awards final coordinates, fast and very rich, have completed a morning lived beautifully.
Yes Cross "Valli del Sorbo" Cross is a 5 Star!
